About Dani

Dani is a provisional psychologist and Master of Professional Psychology student completing placement with The Strengths Centre. She supports children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of emotional and psychological concerns. Her approach balances curiosity and warmth with a grounded and thoughtful presence, working alongside her clients as they make sense of the challenges that life brings.

Dani has an emerging interest in supporting children and young people experiencing anxiety, mood, and emotion regulation challenges in the context of identity formation, adjustment, and the relationships they share with others. Practicing from a strengths-based, neuroaffirming, and trauma-informed framework, Dani draws upon evidence-based approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in her work.

Alongside clinical practice, Dani brings several years of experience across the education and human services sectors, including advancing mental health and program initiatives at schools and universities, and at a national non-for-profit for young people and families impacted by cancer. She has also volunteered as a Lifeline crisis supporter, as a youth advocate with a local headspace centre, and as an event first responder. Dani’s background in program delivery and stakeholder engagement complements her developing psychology practice skills, bringing a systems-informed, person-led approach to supporting young people and families.

Dani’s commitment to ethical, collaborative, and person-centred care is demonstrated through ongoing reflective practice and professional development. She is committed to platforming clients’ lived experience and empowering them to make meaningful change in their lives.
